Ankush Singh Khanchi is a highly dedicated and professionally trained actor with a strong focus on screen acting. His recent roles include the character of Claudius in William Shakespeare's "Hamlet" production by Grover Theatre Company and the lead role in the captivating short film "CAPTCHA."

Ankush's journey in acting began with his pursuit of a Cert IV in Screen and Stage Acting at Perform Australia in Canberra, Australia. Currently enrolled in the Advanced Diploma of Acting, Ankush has honed his craft through various projects, including two full productions and three compelling scene performances. During his training, he delved into different acting methodologies, exploring voice, movement, and character physicality, which have enriched his versatility as an actor.

Originally from India, Ankush made the leap to Australia for his higher education, making him fluent in English, Hindi, and Punjabi. Beyond the realm of acting, Ankush is an automobile enthusiast, an amateur astronomer, and a martial arts fanatic.

When he's not on set or honing his craft, Ankush enjoys watching a wide range of films, from heartwarming rom-coms to action-packed blockbusters. Some of his favorites include "A Few Good Men," "Heat," "Interstellar," and the TV series "Suits."

Ankush's unwavering dedication, passion for his craft, and commitment to portraying challenging characters make him a remarkable talent in the world of acting. He thrives on the opportunity to explore new dimensions, learn along the way, and step into different lives with each project he takes on.

  • GTC presents “HAMLET”

    “Something is rotten in the state of Denmark.”

    Prince Hamlet is grieving her father’s death, as all around her the royal court celebrates the marriage of her mother to the deceased king’s brother, Claudius. When the ghost of Hamlet’s father appears, pronouncing that he was murdered by Claudius and prompting his daughter to revenge, Hamlet seeks further proofs of her uncle’s guilt. But the false madness she puts on to aid her purposes starts to slip, until the line between false and true madness is blurred beyond what even she can discern.
